About Me
I didn't always work in private practice. Before this, I spent years in community mental health centers, correctional facilities, and residential substance use programs. I worked in forensic psychology with incarcerated and court-mandated individuals. I saw people at their most vulnerable, their most stuck, their most human.
Those experiences taught me that healing isn't one-size-fits-all. That the person sitting across from me has usually already tried multiple things that didn't work. That sometimes the most important thing I can do is create space for someone to feel seen and safe enough to try again.
Today, I work with adults dealing with trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, and burnout. Often these show up alongside relationship struggles, grief, major life transitions, or that hard-to-name sense that something needs to change.
How I Work
I draw from whatever approach will actually help you. That might be CBT for thought patterns that keep you stuck. Mindfulness when your nervous system needs to settle. ACT when you're struggling with what you can and can't control. Compassion-focused work when that inner critic won't let up. EMDR when difficult experiences, beliefs, or emotions feel stuck in your system.
The goal isn't to fit you into a method. It's to find what works for you, so you can regulate your emotions better, challenge the patterns that aren't serving you, and live with more authenticity and freedom.
I received my EMDR training through EMDR Consulting, which is EMDRIA certified, ensuring I'm trained in the gold standard approach to trauma processing.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy & EMDR
Since 2021, I've been offering Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for people who haven't found relief through traditional treatment. I've trained extensively in this work through Fluence (psychedelic integration), MAPS (MDMA-assisted therapy), and the Polaris Insight Center (KAP).
I also offer Ketamine-Assisted EMDR, combining the power of ketamine with trauma-focused EMDR therapy. I was trained in this specialized approach by the Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy Institute. This method can help trauma processing feel more accessible and manageable, especially when traditional EMDR alone hasn't been enough.
Ketamine can open doors that talk therapy alone sometimes can't. It creates space for emotional healing, deeper insight, and the kind of shifts that stick. I also support clients who've had psychedelic experiences elsewhere and need help integrating what came up.
I offer both Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Ketamine-Assisted EMDR in person in New York City and Miami, as well as via telehealth for clients in New York, Florida, California, and other PSYPACT states.
Credentials & Licensing
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with a PsyD from Nova Southeastern University. I hold licenses in New York, Florida, and California, and I'm PSYPACT certified, which means I can provide telehealth to clients in participating PSYPACT states.
Individual therapy is available via telehealth in New York, Florida, California, and other PSYPACT states.
