Individual Therapy
Support for what you understand, but still feel
Individual therapy offers ongoing support for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship patterns, and life transitions. Together, we work with what is happening in your mind, body, nervous system, and daily life—so therapy is not just about understanding the pattern, but beginning to move through it.
Individual therapy is available via telehealth for clients in New York, Florida, California, and PSYPACT states.
When things make sense, but still feel hard
Therapy for the patterns that keep showing up
You may understand why you feel anxious, why relationships feel complicated, or why certain memories still affect you. But understanding the pattern does not always mean it stops showing up in your body, mood, relationships, or daily life.
Individual therapy at Trypstate gives you a steady place to work with what feels stuck, overwhelming, or hard to name. The focus is not just insight. It is helping you move through what you are carrying with more support, self-trust, and choice.
Individual therapy may support:
Anxiety, racing thoughts, or overwhelm
Depression or feeling disconnected from yourself
Trauma, PTSD, or difficult past experiences
Burnout, chronic stress, or emotional exhaustion
Grief, loss, or major life transitions
Relationship patterns that keep repeating
Harsh self-criticism or shame
Psychedelic integration support, when clinically appropriate
How therapy works here
Support for what is happening beneath the surface
Individual therapy at Trypstate is not just about talking through what happened. It is about working with how old experiences, protective patterns, and emotional responses continue to live in your body, nervous system, relationships, and sense of self.
Depending on what you need, therapy may include EMDR for trauma that feels stuck, mindfulness and CBT for racing thoughts or overwhelm, compassion-focused work for a harsh inner critic, attachment-focused work for relationship patterns, or support integrating psychedelic experiences that happen outside of Trypstate.
The goal is to help you move through what you are carrying with more steadiness, self-trust, and choice.
A Steady Container
Ongoing support, not just a starting point
Individual therapy can be the main work, or it can provide a steady container around deeper therapeutic experiences. For some clients, this means ongoing support for anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, or relationship patterns. For others, it may include preparation, reflection, and integration around EMDR, ketamine-assisted therapy, intensives, or psychedelic experiences that happen outside of Trypstate.
